These scanners read bars as small as .004" (4 mils) from a distance of up to 1.6" (40 mm) and can withstand drops to solid concrete. They come pre-programmed to read all barcode types and can be programmed via barcode manual to perform any function that a keyboard can do. Works with all Mac O/S versions and Windows 95 and later. (*Except RS-232 model requires additional software for interface with applications or Hyperterminal settings. Advanced users recommended for RS-232 use. Comes with keywedge cable or optional 110 power supply available)
